Gustavo Rodrigues

Gustavo Rodrigues is a Brazilian/Australian drummer based in Brisbane Australia.

Gustavo started playing drums back in Brazil and was graduated with honours at the IPT(Institute of Percussion and Technology).

Back in Brazil, Gustavo recorded and performed with the national act Assedio Social and Toured with Viper.

Gustavo played at the Modern Drummer Festival 2002 and was also featured four times in Modern Drummer magazine.
After relocating to Australia, Gustavo joined the awarded band Seven Sermons as a full time member and became one of the most requested session drummers in Brisbane,Australia .
After Seven Sermons band went on a hiatus, Gustavo started working on his drum method called Prog Samba where he mixes Brazilian rhythms with heavy metal and progressive metal.

As a side project Gustavo helps kids with autism/Brain injury to achieve a better life using drums.
